Luis Troyas
Osés founded "Talleres Azkoyen", in Peralta
(Navarra/Spain). |
| |
|
First coin
selector (model "A") manufactured by Azkoyen for the
SURNE machine, which sold lighter fuel. It worked with 10-cent,
50-cent and 1-peseta coins. |
| |
|
The same
selector (model "A" ) was incorporated to automatic
sweet vending machines. The machines sold with a single price. |
| |
|
Successive
models of coin selectors are built to cater to the new prices
of products sold (tobacco, matches, sweets, soft packages). |
| |
|
The selector
"C" allows change for 5- and 25-peseta coins. |
| |
|
Appearance
of model "H" which selected 2-, 25-, 50- and 100-peseta
coins. |
| |
|
Coin mechanisms
allow sales at nine different prices, with or without coin return. |
| |
|
Incorporation
of microprocessors to coin mechanisms, developed by Azkoyen
Group, S.A. together with the Ikerlan technology research centre. |
| |
|
A key year
for the history of Azkoyen. The Group incorporates electronics
technology to selectors and payout hoppers. This is a landmark
in the industrial and financial history of Spain. |
| |
|
The "L
60" electronic selector is patented. It is henceforth installed
in all automatic vending machines manufactured by Azkoyen. This
selector is capable of "reading and checking" nine
different coin parameters in 3 thousandths of a second. |
| |
|
